Client access, without the theatre
We don't run a separate portal that shows you a sanitised summary of your own project. You get access to the actual tools the engineers work in — the board, the repository, the channel and the demos. That is the portal.
What every active client gets
Set up in the first week of any engagement, before development starts.
Your project board
Every ticket, its owner and its status — the same board the engineers work from, not a filtered copy. You can comment directly on any item.
Repository access from day one
Your code, in your organisation where you prefer it. Every commit and pull request visible as it happens — not delivered in a zip at the end.
A shared channel
Slack, Teams or WhatsApp — whatever you already use. Direct access to the engineers doing the work, not routed through an account manager.
Sprint demos
A working demo at the end of every two-week sprint, recorded so anyone on your side who missed it can catch up.
A staging environment
A live URL you can click through at any point, updated continuously. You never have to take our word for progress.
Scope and invoices in one place
The signed scope, the milestone plan and every invoice, each referencing the scope item it relates to. No mystery line items.
Why we don't build a portal instead
A bespoke client portal sounds reassuring, but in practice it becomes a layer between you and the truth. Someone has to update it, so it lags. It shows summarised status, so it smooths over problems. And it's one more thing to maintain instead of building your product.
Giving you the real board, the real repository and the real staging environment costs us nothing to maintain and cannot be quietly massaged. If a sprint went badly, you'll see it on the board before we tell you — and we'd rather that than the alternative.
If your organisation genuinely requires a dedicated portal — for procurement, audit or internal reporting reasons — say so during scoping and we'll build one into the engagement.
Access & security
- Your identity provider. Access runs through your own Google Workspace, Microsoft or GitHub organisation — we don't create another set of credentials for you to manage.
- Your access policy. Company devices, VPN, restricted repository scopes, no local data copies — whatever your security team requires.
- NDA and IP assignment. Signed before discovery, with full assignment of everything the team produces.
- Clean exit. Deployments are containerised and reproducible. If you move the system in-house or elsewhere, everything goes with you.
